Community Networker: Great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities! Part time weekdays with various days and hours available to support people in their volunteer positions, skill development, independent daily living skills & community involvement. Must be centered on the needs of each person supported, work according to their needs, be reliable and have own transportation. Community Supporter: Depending on your interests and availability, positions available various days, nights, and/or weekends to support someone with a developmental disability. Work with each person one at a time in their own home, with their own lifestyle and help to support and integrate each person into the community of activities and relationships that are so important to all of us. Assist with daily routines, participate in life's experiences, build relationships, be a role model, assist with appointments, laundry, housekeeping, shopping and all other daily activities leading to a quality environment and life. Campus Mentor: Campus Mentor - People needed to support 1:1 a person with a disability in an inclusive college classes, study groups and with social life on the campus of Syracuse University. Must be a strong advocate for the student promoting an inclusive learning environment in academic and social settings, have strong communication skills, excellent work ethic, self motivated, life long learner, team member, versatile.
